J-Fashion is an umbrella term used for Japanese street fashion styles. It is typically considered a subcategory of alternative fashion.
Some popular J-Fashion styles include Lolita, Gyaru, Fairy Kei, Decora and Jirai Kei.
J-Fashion should generally not be tagged as Japanese clothing unless traditional Japanese clothing or school uniforms are an influence on the style, such as in Wa Lolita or Kogal. While J-Fashion originates in Japan, these styles are worn around the world.
