SCP-3000, aka, Anantashesha, is an anomalous object in the SCP Foundation Mythos.

SCP-3000 has the appearance of a giant moray eel of impossibly long length. SCP-3000 possesses a powerful cognitohazardous effect that induces memory loss in those that observe it. Additionally, when it consumes humans it produces a compound known as Y-909, which is used by The SCP Foundation to create memory erasure/manipulation drugs.

SCP-3000 is the brother of SCP-4343 the Serpent of the Wanderer's Library, aka Nahash. By that logic SCP-3000 is also known as IS NOT.

SCP-3000 is classified as Thaumiel, meaning that its anomalous properties are useful to The Foundation. Namely, its production of Y-909 to help ensure the SCP Foundation's secrecy.
