november (month)
November is the eleventh month of the Julian and Gregorian calendars, lasting for 30 days. In the Northern Hemisphere, November is the second full month of autumn and in the Southern Hemisphere, the second full month of spring. It is named after the Latin numeral novem, meaning "nine", as the month was originally the ninth month of the Julian calendar.
November's birthstones are topaz and citrine, representing friendship and wealth respectively. November's flowers are the chrysanthemums (Chrysanthemum). In regards to the western zodiac, November is under the sign of Scorpio until the 21st, when the sign of Sagittarius begins.
