One of the Major Arcana defined in tarot. In typical portrayals, Judgement is an angel (Gabriel) blowing a trumpet and calling upon God's people to enter Heaven. The dead rise from their graves in the sea to meet him; this scene calls to mind the Book of Revelation, which describes the dead rising from the sea.

In cartomancy, the upright Judgement arcanum is interpreted as judgement, rebirth, inner calling, and absolution.
The reversed Judgement arcanum is interpreted as self-doubt, self-criticism, and ignoring a calling.
