A weaponized gauntlet with an integrated melee_weapon or ranged_weapon. It usually includes a vambrace as part of the assembly to where the weapon systems are usually installed.

Variants

Melee

• A punching weapon, similar in usage to boxing_gloves.
• armor plating that is thicker than your average gauntlet to withstand repeated use.
• May also include an elbow or wrist-mounted rockets for extra velocity.
• A piston/hydraulic mechanism for more impact.
• Spikes or bumps on the knuckles.
• An armored claw
• Claw-like blades are attached to each digit of the gauntlet.
• A set of claw-like blades mounted on the backhand side of the gauntlet or vambrace.
• An armored katar
• A blade mounted on the backhand side of the gauntlet or vambrace.
• A retractable blade under the wrist side of the vambrace often used by assassins.

Ranged

• Literal finger guns
• A ranged weapon is mounted on one, several or all digits of the gauntlet.
• The finger guns fire traditional solid projectiles.
• The fingers guns launch miniaturize rocket propelled explosives.
• The finger guns fire energy beams or projectiles.
• The fingers detach from the hand and are launched as rocket propelled explosives.
• A palm-mounted ranged weapon.
• A literal hand cannon. A gun hole or extendable gun barrel can be seen on the palm.
• A palm-mount energy emitter that fire beams or projectiles or project energy melee weapons from it.
• A mounted ranged weapon is attached to the gauntlet or vambrace.
• Rocket fists; The hand or the entire forearm detaches from the arm and is launched as a rocket propelled projectile
• The rocket fist returns and docks back to the user's arm after punching the target.
• The rocket fists explodes on contact and the arm is reloaded with new rocket fists.
• Magic Gauntlets
• The gauntlets launches spectral fists at the target whenever the wielder does a punching motion.
• The gauntlets aid the wielder on casting spells, similar in function to a magic staff or wand.
