Hime Gyaru, literally "princess gyaru", is a substyle of Gyaru that plays up innocence and glamour, borrowing elements from Hime Lolita.

The style often features tiaras, big hair, softer makeup, pink and white clothing, bows, frilly clothing (especially dresses and skirts), jewelry made of gold and gems, and "sweet" iconography/prints.

Note that just because a gyaru character has a tiara or some pink on their outfit does not make them hime gyaru. Hime gyaru is much closer to lolita and has a very distinct look. If the style has some princess elements but doesn’t quite fit the hime gyaru style, himekaji might apply instead.
