A species of Neopet that is a squat, chubby, nondescript quadruped. Despite its cute appearance, they are always depicted as having sharp teeth (particularly if painted Transparent, which shows their skeleton).

They are one of the "Limited Edition" Neopets, which have a hard cap on how many can be created which raises every year on the day dedicated to the species.

They are one of the canid Neopets, alongside the Lupe (wolf) and Gelert (hunting hound).
