SCP-001-LOCKE, aka, "When Day Breaks" is one of the many proposals for SCP-001 in the SCP Foundation Mythos and arguably the most famous one.

SCP-001-LOCKE is a phenomena in which Sol, the Earth's Sun, begins emitting a new kind of radiation. This radiation causes animals made of flesh to melt as though they were made out of candlewax when exposed to the light of the sun. This means that you cannot go outside during the day or at night when the moon is visible without wearing completely light proof body suits. Additionally, it should be known that melted life forms do not die when exposed to SCP-001, rather they become immortal having to suffer as their body and consciousness is literally liquified. Finally, when melted humans come into contact with each other, they become instances of SCP-001-A, extremely aggressive abominations of immortal and indestructible human flesh melded together. These organism will attempt to find humans who have not been melted and dragged into the light. SCP-001's Range is only limited by where it is visible. Meaning that extraterrestrial anomalies will also inevitably affected if they can see the Earth's Sun.

SCP-001-LOCKE is classified as Apollyon, which means that the anomaly will permanently breach containment and inevitably destroy the world.
