Species: colorpoint
Colorpoint is a form of partial albinism in cats that causes a pale body with darker extremities. This is caused by a heat-deactivated enzyme that leads color to be present mostly in the coldest parts of the body.
When this is combined with a tabby pattern, this is known as a lynx point.
Point coloration also exists in other species, but this is unrelated to heat-deactivated albinism.
