Species: ojos azules
Ojos Azules is an extinct breed of domestic cat with abnormal blue eyes with non-white coat coloration and a flat tail tip.
In 2004, it was discovered that the breed was associated with severe cranial deformities that led to death. As a result, the breeders stopped working on the breed out of ethical concerns, and the breed went extinct.
In 1991, only ten registered Ojos Azules existed. One of the last living confirmed members of Ojos Azules was RW QGM Luv Cheyald, who was confirmed to still be alive in 2019 at 12 years of age. A few of their distant descendants are still bred by a single breeder, but these are not true Ojos Azules.
