Trapinch (Japanese: ナックラー Nuckrar) is a Ground-type Pokémon introduced in Generation Ⅲ.

It evolves into Vibrava starting at level 35, which evolves into Flygon starting at level 45.

Trapinch is a small Pokémon with an orange body inspired by – but not resembling – antlion larva. Like them, it hides in sand pits and waits for its prey at the bottom.

Its evolution, Vibrava, resembles the adult form of the antlion.
Trapinch has a large head with powerful jaws, a round body, a round black eyes with twinkle-shaped pupils and a zigzagging mouth.
