Character: halsin (baldur's gate)
Master Halsin is a supporting character and potentially recruitable companion in Baldur's Gate 3.
He is a male wood elf, and Archdruid of the Emerald Grove, one of the first locations discovered in the beginning of the game. As the leader of the Emerald Grove Druidic Circle, Halsin has a strong sense of justice and morality centering around the preservation of the natural order of things. He is a kind and friendly, gentle by nature despite his tall and somewhat intimidating appearance.
During Act 1 of the game he is a potential person if interest, the player may attempt to seek him out to remove their Illithid Parasite from their body. He is found imprisoned within a Goblin Encampment.
By default, Halsin is a Circle of the Moon Druid with proficiency in simple weapons and medium armor. He is notably the only Druid in the game who can transform into a Cave Bear using the Druid Signature Skill: Wild Shape.
Halsin has the appearance of an adult male Wood Elf with auburn hair and streaks of silver. He is 350 years old when you meet him in the game which is considered middle age by Elf Standards. He is tall and muscular with a gentle, fatherly appearance and demeanor. He has a red druidic tattoo on the right side of his face and claw mark like scars on the left side of his face. He is frequently depicted as a Cave Bear or an anthropomorphic Cave Bear.
