Moo Deng (Thai: หมูเด้ง) is a female pygmy hippopotamus from the real world. Named after the Thai food dish khao mu daeng (ข้าวหมูแดง), her name literally means "bouncing pork".

Moo Deng was born July 10th, 2024 to her parents Jona and Tony at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo (สวนสัตว์เปิดเขาเขียว) in Chonburi, Thailand. At just two-months-old, she went internationally viral in September 2024, for her fat, diminutive, and expressive appearance. The zoo has posted to social media account photos and videos of Moo Deng with her mother and their keeper, showing her sleeping, being pet, and washed with a hose.
