The Mexican Wolf (Canis Lupus Baileyi) is one of the suspecies of the Grey Wolf living in Northern Mexico and Southern United States. It is also the smallest subspecies of North America, comparable to medium-sized domestic dogs.
Currently in real life, the colorful Mexican Wolf is critically endangered but is still slowly increasing their population back in the wild.
