Skiddo (Japanese: メェークル Meecle) is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI. It is in the Field egg group.
It evolves into Gogoat starting at level 32.
Skiddo is a quadruped Pokémon with a goat-like appearance and a body covered mostly in thick brown fur. It has a white face with a vertical brown stripe, a round black nose, black eyes, a small beard and small round ears. It also has a pair of pointed black horns on the top of its head that point to the side. Its lower legs are white and it has orange cloven hooves.
This Pokémon has a leafy mane around its neck that extends down its back to its tail, which is made up of three small leaves.
Skiddo is inspired by a goat, or more likely by its horns, the bharal. It is also inspired by a two-wheeled vehicle: it can be driven and its horns are reminiscent of bicycle handlebars. The leaves growing from its body are inspired by the Greek myth of Pan, the half-man, half-goat god of nature.
They may also recall the Julbock, a straw goat from northern Europe.
Thanks to its photosynthesizing leaves, this Pokémon doesn't need to be fed as long as it can use the energy of the sun. It is docile by nature, and is believed to be one of the first Pokémon domesticated by humans. The anime also shows that Skiddo's milk can be used to make dairy products.
In Pokémon X and Y, Skiddo can be used as a Poké Ride.
Finally, its Shiny counterpart has pale fur and pink hooves.
