Characterized by light and bright colors, and rich patterns and ornimantation. For women think Marie Antoinette; for men think Thomas Jefferson or the classic pirate coat. Wigs, simple as well as elaborate and typically white, popular among all genders. Tricorn hats also gained wide popularity during this time.
