Fakémon are fan-made creations that are based on Pokémon, Digimon, Monster Rancher, and other such franchises. Also includes fan-made variations, new evolutions, and so on.

Note that the franchise tags such as Pokémon and Digimon are for official creations. Fan-made species should be tagged simply as "fakémon" unless clearly based on official species. For example:

Not to be confused with
