Lieutenant M'Ress

A fictional character from Star Trek: The Animated Series that aired in 1973-1974. M'Ress was a member of the Caitian race, a feline like species of warp capable humanoids that were members of the United Federation of Planets.
Male Caitians tended to groom their hair down sharply while females preferred to grow out longer hair on their heads. Within the Caitian society there was also a divide where some Caitians would have their body fur mostly trimmed down in order to present a more human-like appearance.
