Requested feature overview description.
Better pool ordering tools. This can mean more tools with which to work, or a more intuitive GUI.

Why would it be useful?
Currently, if you want to insert a missing image from a pool (say, a page of a comic) into the appropriate order index, then all subsequent images must also be changed manually. This can be quite a nuisance when adding multiple forgotten images, reordering images, or otherwise changing the order for some other reason in a large pool. Better tools can overcome these problems.

the manual way of doing things seems unpleasant. i would like this to be improved.

You can use decimals while ordering if you didn't already know. If you have an 80 page pool and you want to put new post at 60, just do 59.5 for the new post.

I don't think decimals work, it just seems like they do. Everything after the whole number gets stripped. When two posts are ordered as number 3 in a pool, the lower post #100 is put before the higher post #101.

So here's how to insert a post into a pool. First look at the id of the post it needs to go after. I just uploaded post #986 and I need it to go after post #532, which is in 3rd place. 986 > 532 so I can just set them both as 3rd place. (If I was inserting post #101 after post #532 I would have to set it to 4th.) Now I click Save and everything is in the right order.

For full marks now go back to Order and click Auto Order. This takes the current pool order and sets the posts as 1, 2, 3 etc. Now there are no posts sharing a position.
