If you tried the image search engine mentioned by Munkelzahn but failed in finding it then ask away on e621 and collectively your culprit will be found

post a question concerning a image and eventually it will be answered by users

And stickied. Any future "source/artist pls" thread will be locked and directed here.

Thank you. I can't believe how many 'OMG SOURCE???' threads popped up recently, it's pretty annoying. I don't understand how people give up so easily when reverse image searching and basic googling/tag searching is so easy. It's mind boggling.

Some of these services do also keep deleted posts samples, so you should get results even with those. However keep in mind that deleted posts when services crawling was malfunctioning or before the service was established, aren't in the results, so image could've been uploaded here but it will not show using those services at that point.

Then there's also MD5 searching. e621 and inkbunny supports searching with this, so if the image looks like that it could be of original quality, this is worth a shot. Sometimes MD5 is part of the filename or URL, which can help if e.g. image seems clearly downscaled but has hash of original still as filename. Formats of sites are listed here.

Like single cell said, before the image reverse searching was a thing, we have a site where everything is at least hopefully well tagged, so sometimes simply searching with most obvious tags usually gets the result. If you didn't get educated in elementary school how to use search engines to your advantage, remember to click that [color=yellow](Search Options)[/color] next to search field.

Could be useful to add a new rule to the site regarding the creation of "source plz!!!" threads.
Read the rules again, seems to already be covered fairly well by the Spam section, tho another line specifically mentioning Source Requesting wouldn't hurt.

Although, considering how green the users who make "source nauw" threads usually are, it most likely won't have any impact, considering the users in questions most likely haven't read the site rules.

I of course searched e621 for post with tags it might’ve had if it was posted here. I didn’t find it here. I can’t make out what the artist name exactly is from the signature either, so my next bet was reverse searching. I’m using mobile, so It seems my capabilities are limited. I say this because I can’t view the image itself to use for reverse searching. So I had my friend send me the downloaded version so I could upload it to an image hosting site from there to use to reverse search. I tried all the methods from above to no avail, (I couldn’t get this one to load results for some reason) and I’m not sure who else to ask for help. Hopefully because it it’s dated for 2018 it’ll be a bit easier to find.

For me, I recognized the artist signature and just went to their FA page.

Search canid underwear on FA with date sorting and it's the second result. The Tumblr source is linked in the information.

Alternatively, running a reverse image search on Google brings up a couple pings in people's favorites. You can just go to their pages and look in their favorites.

There's a very specific image I'm looking for, since my last computer died I lost it for now..

The image is kind of a sketch type drawing, of a blue and white eastern dragon whacking off, and he's looking at the viewer saying "Hey Now!" Like I said, it was a looooong time ago. My memory's spotty and I may be getting some things wrong.
It was definitely an interactive thing. I don't think it was voice acted, as VA was rare back then, and I don't know if the introduction was done in comic style or not. The actual sex scenes weren't in comic style.
The actual erotic scene had several stages, each one adding more devices. Most of the devices were the "massage rings" over like the arms and legs, with one only going onto the penis at the final stage. I don't remember what the other devices were, but I'm sure there were more than just the rings.
