I have a suggestion I don't know why I didn't make several years ago when I started using this site. How about not having the tags show up in the URL? My internet history is rampant with all the gritty details. Why not have random numbers or code, even just the post ID? It's not like a little discretion would hurt anybody.

So...if I'm understanding you correctly, you want to be able to find pictures of solo men or solo women (or both types at once), while excluding pictures with multiple characters?

That's already possible through tags:
solo male
solo female
solo -intersex -ambiguous_gender

I'll grant that the last isn't particularly intuitive, but it'll work.

I would like to request previews for .SWF flash files. As opposed to just the blank white box with "Download" scrawled on it.

Numerous times I have clicked on a SWF hoping for something worthwhile. But I am instead either disgusted, horrified, shocked, or all of the above.

FA can do Flash preview icons, why can't e-Six? Just something simple. A screencap from the flash with "FLASH" written across it or something.

Improve the Unapprove system for flagging posts for moderation. The current system is a simple inputbox with a OK and Cancel button.

An improved system would replace the comment box on the page with a report input box (much like when edit is selected).

Inputboxes take priority, when one is open you can't select anything other than the inputbox. Changing this to a comment like input method would allow tab switching, page scrolling and would provide a method of input that is much more editable than a one line scrolling inputbox.

Just one minor inconvenience I encountered: make the blacklist case-unsensitive. All tags are in lowercase so if you enter a blacklist entry (partially) in uppercase it won't work. Automatically converting entries to lowercase or ignoring upper/lowercase in general would solve this.

a question, why would someone need to have free move between tags when marking a post for moderation? I understand if you want to do that for saving pictures, but if you want to return a post back to the mods, shouldn't you just get it out of the way?

Because doing that automatically isn't possible. and users are too lazy/stupid/assholish/manipulative to put one up themselves.. Besides, haven't you ever been tricked by someone saying something is something when it isn't?

I swear if I ever get rickrolled because someone decides to put a preview of something it isn't on this site they will be not only permabanned... but I will come over to their house personally, rip out their throat and force feed them their own asshole.

How about when you mouse over the equation for somebody's post limit, it tells you what all the numbers mean? It can get kind of confusing, especially for new users.

How about option to organise uploads by albums?
Like Eric's Pic ,My Drawings,or while searching trough my post to sort them by date,score,artist...
Also view counter is nice as well as YouTube way of score voting,instead Thumbs up And down fighting against each other, but instead to have each in separate bar (red for thumb down and green for thumbs up).

- parent

It'd be nice if there also were a textbox for comments.
This would guarantee that you could be the first to comment on an image you yourself have uploaded.

The comment might contain answers to questions you anticipate other users will ask.

How about preventing image uploading if it has less than 4 tags and they must not contain "tag" as tag in any form(like "tag_me" "plztag" "tagagatag" "instert_tag_here_im_lazy")

I would give my left .... something... for a list of 'favorite tags' that can be used WHILE TAGGING. I know there's a list of 'most recent' tags. ... and that works recently until you trip over an image that requires different tags for whatever readon ("What? why the hell isn't this tagged with cub and gore? D:") ... i'd love a way to have a separate little list that i can click on in the same fashion made up of tags that I choose to put there. That way I could, for example, go into the nipple-and-boob related tags and select the proper boob related tags... as there is no need for one character to have both 'big boobs' and 'flat chest'... but I'd either have to make multiple passes or hand type all of them... since it's not a matter of copy pasting one tag (or set of tags) over and over into multiple images.

plus, it'd help me keep up with my 'pet tags' -- ie, the tags I've looked at and said "wow, you really should be used more often" and start crawling through the archives for related images.

I think images listed under Popular should be sorted based on score. As it is, it doesn't even seems like score is a factor.

You could always bookmark it, though having a link on the page would be easier.

Sometimes, I kinda wish there was a way I could mouse over a thumbnail and see the number of comments on that post (and possibly how long ago the last comment was).... I love uploading, I love seeing the comments people leave on things I upload. I really hate looking at each upload individually to see which posts were the 'most appreciated' as far as comments go. In a ideal fantasy world I could see, say, who made the last comments as well, but that's just messy.

I think I'd be happiest with 'Comments: 24 (3), last 2 days ago' (24 comments, 3 below threshold -- though even that counter is 'unneeded' in my opinion)...

The only problem I could see with that would be having the same annoyance Google has when you search for images. Like (on Google) if you accidentally leave the mouse on the page while you scroll through it, random images would pop up.
All though it is annoying, it's not a big problem.

I'm gonna sound like a broken record talking about rating all the time, but I think there are a lot of fun things we could do with it. What if users had like, I dunno, some kind of upload score that would increase the more people +1'd their uploads. Let's say every ten points or so, their score would increase. Maybe after certain score thresholds, they'd unlock certain benefits like titles or something. Things like this will encourage people to post higher quality uploads or could just convince them to upload and vote more often.

eh. not so much, I think. I upload a lot of not-porn and some of the most gorgeous bits of art I upload only get a few +1's... whereas if I upload something with a pussy on it, everyone +1's. and faves. I wish faving gave a +1 D:

I would hate to feel pressured to upload porn rather then pretty pictures just because it'd make my 'score' go up.

It might be nice to reward peopel for voting maybe... but, I dunno. It's a two-edged blade... if you give a tangible reward, there will be people that abuse it to lengthen their epeen.. :p but, making it pointless does nothing for anyone. I dunno.

If you really wanted to, you could create a poll question out of a new forum topic and tally the results yourself.

As for the "Next" button, that sounds like a good idea.
The "Next" button that's already there only seems to track through the posts in order of upload.

You may misunderstand me. I rarely have interest in 'chatty' topics... (music, etc) but very much enjoy debating about aliases and implications and so forth. While I do enjoy the IRC channel when I have the consecutive time to go in, sit and chat... I don't think I've seen much in the way of tagging/alias/etc discussion there, but maybe I've been paying attention at the wrong moments. :)
