Reason: Yeah, yeah, that one guy who is obsessed with Lilo & Stitch finally made a new BUR for this franchise's tags... OK, let's get this over with...

  • 1. "Disney Stitch" can be a bit ambiguous as it can refer to either the character or the franchise, which is sometimes shortened to Stitch. More recently, Disney has been promoting the franchise as Stitch complete with a modified Lilo & Stitch logo that says just Disney Stitch. Besides that, "Disney" is more just there for branding purposes. Thus, it's better that disney_stitch is used to refer to the franchise, not the character. (Note: Cannot suggest new alias within BUR.)
  • 2. Call this nitpicky considering the unambiguity of the alias itself, but nobody calls the character "Stitch the Alien", and neither does Disney. Why did ImpidiDinkaDoo felt the need to make this alias back then is beyond me, but I'm pretty sure we're fine without it.
  • 3. Another quick alias for Lilo Pelekai.

  • 6. Wendy Pleakley is the Plorgonarian character's full name. Although he's better known by just his surname, his tag should finally switch over to his full name. He is/was also known as "Agent Pleakley" from his time in the United Galactic Federation.
  • 7. Not only that, his family are also tagged on here. (Mr. Pleakley, Wendy Pleakley's father, is a so-far anime exclusive character, although the one picture of the character that is on here doesn't look much like him.)
  • 8. Given name only aliases for David Kawena.
  • 9. "Grand Councilwoman" is two words, not three.
  • 10. Given name only aliases for Mertle Edmonds.
  • 11. Additional aliases for the girls in Mertle's posse. ("Aleka" was the name given to Teresa in Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch.)

Reason: Just found out a little too late that I made another couple mistakes in the BUR. The Stitch & the Samurai aliases got aliased to the franchise's tag instead, while mr_pleakley got mistakenly aliased to mrs._pleakley.

The lilo_and_stitch tag is meant to represent the franchise as a whole, not just the original 2002 film, and none of the original Western works from 2002 to 2006 are distinct enough to warrant separate tags, unlike with the post-2006 spin-offs Stitch!, Stitch & Ai, and Stitch & the Samurai.

Update (October 15, 2022): Still not approved yet, huh? Anyway, I added an implication for coco_(lilo_and_stitch)to the franchise's tag and aliases relating to that character tag, including the character's experiment number, as that character has finally received a post recently.

The lilo_and_stitch tag is meant to represent the franchise as a whole, not just the original 2002 film, and none of the original Western works from 2002 to 2006 are distinct enough to warrant separate tags, unlike with the post-2006 spin-offs Stitch!, Stitch & Ai, and Stitch & the Samurai.

I've been waiting for quite a while to get that BUR approved now. It really bothers me how tono_and_stitch and stitch_&_the_samurai are still aliased to the franchise's tag instead of to stitch_and_the_samurai all because of some simple mistakes I made back in the first BUR. Worse is that I want to make some more suggestions, but I've hit the maximum limit with that BUR, and even then, I can't go forward with some of them until that BUR is approved first.

Reason: Just found out a little too late that I made another couple mistakes in the BUR. The Stitch & the Samurai aliases got aliased to the franchise's tag instead, while mr_pleakley got mistakenly aliased to mrs._pleakley.

Reason: Finally getting the correct aliases out of the way after the BUR finally got approved. Also adding a bunch of aliases for the film and The Series to the franchise's tag, since none of the original Western works are really distinct enough from each other (aside from some characters and tonal differences) to warrant their own tags unlike the Asian spin-offs. (I'm not bothering with the sequel films.)
