Topic: Tag game-accurate deathclaws as feral or anthro? There is a tag mix on post #4940037

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

post #4940037 depicts a human and a deathclaw. It has a wild mix of anthro and feral related tags, all of which are referring to the deathclaw.

How would this be tagged corretly, feral or anthro? Evident by the tags there seems to be some disagreement as to which is correct.

Wiki on anthro:
[Animalistic features] are combined with human qualities such as physique(e.g. shape of chest, shoulders, butt, etc...), upright posture, opposable hands, human mannerisms and ability to make facial expressions.

Wiki on feral:
In cases were the line between feral and anthro is subtle, the difference can usually be determined by the neck and shoulder shape, and the overall posture.

The deathclaw's 3d model is rather close to the "natural" look as seen in the Fallout games. The only modification seems to be distinclty non-human genitals. It's bipedal but the pose and body proportions differ from what I am used to seeing in anthro characters. There is also the complete lack of typical "anthroification" features such as human-like genitals, breast, hands, feet or hair.

"Feral" seems correct here but I don't want to just change the tags and risk an edit war without making sure.

Thanks in advance for clearing this up!

It's one of those critters breakdancing right on the border in between feral and anthro, and I would like an answer to this as well.
