the main (and really only fappable) sex is m/m, but it still has to be tagged m/f too, scamming views out of straight people

    are you serious?
straight people... who don't have m/m blacklisted, so they apparently don't mind it.
on the other hand, he's LOSING views of people who have blacklisted either m/m or m/f, so for example gays who could easily enjoy the focus of this image and ignore tits in the background. which makes that "scam" not very well thought-through. if it was intentional, that is, which i doubt.
i'm pretty sure that he simply likes the idea of various combinations of characters screwing each other casually, just like in images when both m/m and m/f pairs are in focus

How can a straight person be scammed into viewing this image when the THUMBNAIL shows two males? Do you think they just went "Oh, maybe there's some straight action in there somewhere, better check it out!" ?

  • So apparently every artist needs to never have any background characters because it manipulates the tags...
I'm sure the reason he spent his time drawing them was because he wanted those extra views on E621. These artists sure are getting crafty.

Funny part? Tags don't dictate the highlights of photos. There is M/F going on. Just in the back ground. However if M/m didn't suit you, well. Shoula looked at the tags as well.

    Other stuff

Now now, we must remember that in scenarios like this the is a level of 'push' and 'pull'. The real question is: what is the ratio of 'people who often search for m/f' to 'people who blacklist either m/f or m/m'
We'd have to do a study and compare stats to see if this "scam" (really, scam? that's a bit harsh of a label) is effective to the views—good or bad—or not effective at all.
Sorry I done physics in college this kind of shit is literally all I think about.

that's more or less what i said.
with a pressure on that it's very unlikely that many straight people will be "scammed" to view this image, while it's very likely that many gay people who have m/f blacklisted will lose the opportunity to view it.
sure, i don't have the numbers, but come on.

  • Am straight. Was still too hot to ignore. And now I have to investigate this further damn it. I hate self exploration.
