I think what's odd is that most people don't question that Judy had a plush of Nick, even down to his clothes. Was it a specificly made for her, or is some weird person making plushes of real life people?

I've seen multiple artists draw Judy with a Nick plushy that she cuddles with. It's not something new. :\

Unfortunately for your honestly quite sound logic, E621’s rules state “tag what you see.” We can’t see Nick in this image (the plushie doesn’t count for this), so therefore tagging this image with “male” is incorrect.
