Because of how content is handled on this website and how flash files keep their save data, I strongly suggest anyone playing this always taking the password after quitting and even better is to save the game to local memory and play it with flash projector or similar (also gives fullscreen ability and other neat stuff).

I will be deleting the old version tomorrow, so take your passwords before that.

I just came for a quick spin and ended up spending 2 hours.. that was completely unexpected! A surprisingly fun puzzle game that had my mind twisting on the 5 peg difficulty.

Fuck, I've probably put more time into this now than I've put into games I've payed full price for. The artist should really consider opening up a donate button.

There seems to be a freezing issue when you try to click skip during a minigame's instructions. I put in a password and it still gave me a tutorial on a minigame I'd played before in this save file. When I clicked "skip", the whole game froze. It was on the tent minigame.

Tell Grovyle whether you're a boy or girl and whether he/she is a boy/girl, then ask if Grovyle remembers you. After that, put in the name you used in the game your password came from, then Grovyle will ask you for your password.

Also, is the den broken now? It never seems to be open anymore.

How did you change the save data exactly? I downloaded this version and it didn't find my saves.

Ah nevermind, my den issue was related to the minigame tutorial issue. This version seems to require you to go through the minigame tutorials even if you put in a password where you'd already done them. The den wasn't open because I hadn't gone through the tutorials for them yet, but it works now.

Has anyone figured out if Kecleon will go on camera? Or is everyone hinting at it just trolling?

Only way to afford Mystery Boxes (yeah I'm fairly sure it's just an infinitely looping lure to get you to keep playing the game...) is 7-pegs. >_<

It's too hard.

I can solve the first ones easy, but the I can't even solve the 3 peg ones at all.

I want to keep going, I love the characters and humor but these puzzles are just too difficult for me.

You can click on boxes to put an X or Check mark on them. I personally would place a color, then place an X or Check in each row the bug would effect. If you have too many Xs or Checks in a row, then you just work your way back up. It made it easier for me to visually see where my problems are.

God damn it, I spent my free hours playing this, and now that I'm back, I'm playing it some more.

The game's too fun and the porn is too good.

This is my first time playing. I am really interested in playing this game with a lot of pokemon to play with and items to try out. I have faced no problems so far and if your still adding more then I cant wait.

The vibrator always works on them (although I dont know if you can use it on males). I never quite figured them out apart from that. They just like rubs. The only other time I got them "willing" was after lowering the sexdrive. Maybe it's reversed for them?

I honestly found it easier than 5 pegs. The extra rule of "no adjacents" helps narrowing down a lot, altough it's fairly long to complete.

5 pegs though, some levels are downright impossible to solve without a little of brute force. You can't deduce a single peg as correct, you can deduce that situations A, B or C fits and then process to try and fit the rest to see which works but damn, it's one tough puzzle to complete... By the time I finish those I'm not in the mood for the pokemon porn that is to follow, XD.

There is one item heracross sells that makes them stand still, can't remember which one exactly, but ask for descriptions and he/she will tell you.

This game is absolutely amazing. I've sunk so many hours into it. The puzzles are super fun, and are a great way to stretch your logical thinking skills.

Also the lewdness is somehow adorable and incredibly hot.

Check the left side of the main menu for a tutorial button, Grovyle can give you a detailed run down on any puzzle type. They can probably explain a lot better than I can.

Hearts mean that there is a bug in that row that is in the correct position in the final answer. Dots mean that there is a bug in that row that is in the wrong position in the final answer.

I believe the first time you play with Abra he substitutes Lucario instead. After that he appears rarely until you buy the pizza coupons.

I do agree the tutorials are not that helpful. I've played Mastermind once or twice and I didn't like it. Look up info on how to play it. It's not played exactly the same (you reveal hints one at a time and try to guess in the least amount of hints), but the rules are.

Buggy and slow, puzzles to difficult, and no real direction or instructions. Pass.

so how do you use the x and check flags, i click on them but they do nothing i lick on the boxes and then the signs but nothing, how exactly are they suppose to work because for the most part they just seem to be there for decoration

Only certain pokemon like certain toys, but I think maybe their horny meter has to hit max before they become an option for the first time, it took awhile after buying for them to actually show up. The toys have their own meter, if it's low then they'll probably decline to use it.

Some toys are only there as a gag, like the monster dildo being an option for Smeargle (you get funny dialogue for it at least... I was worried he'd just run). It's unclear if you can get it all the way into Lucario.

I know you can use the blue/jelly dildos with Buizel, and the vibrator with Grovyle and Smeargle. I think there's others for those, but I don't remember off the top of my head.

yeah, I totally get it with the puzzles being hard. I just cant seem to figure it out, im just too stupid to play this. i hurt myself trying to solve even the easiest of puzzles.

This is just a workaround until that bug gets fixed, but in the meantime I've found that you can right-click to make your cursor reappear (sometimes you have to do it outside the game's viewport) and then move it to where you want to click before left-clicking again.

Make sure to use the insulated gloves before clicking on Grimer, and then swap them out afterwards. This is also important should you do anything with electric or mechanical pokemon

Heracross mentioned they were waterproof too, but I wasn't wearing them when Rydon mentioned taking a shower and you not being waterproof.

Really fucking annoyed about the short-notice deletion. I don't play this game daily, and I was annoyed to find out that my progress was completely deleted because of an arbitrary "inferior version" rule.

Is there any possible way to recover the save data or am I fucked?

Open a Run dialog, for example Windows Key + R
Paste:
%Appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player

After entering it, File Explorer should open to that folder. There will be another folder #SharedObjects and in that one another of many letters/numbers. Inside that folder should be:
static1.e621.net
Inside that folder should be the save data. MonsterMindSaveSlot.sol for example.

The first thing I'd do is copy/back up the entire
#SharedObjects folder just in case. I don't know if the save data changed location or format, but if it's just a matter of the file name or location you should be able to copy/rename the old save slot.sol to wherever the new version's is stored.

As a precaution in the future, you can screenshot the passcode you can view in game. A lazy quick way is Windows Key + Print Screen, which will save a snapshot in Pictures.

Yes, it is already fixed on FurAffinity's 1.04.1. But I understand if e621 wants to maybe only pick up the latest version once a week or so. Updates are disruptive

The newer versions of the game (1.04 and onward) should not lose your save data with updates.

Take it as a compliment that this is my first comment ever, but I love this game. I'm currently at 97.1% with all items bought and have done a successful sync. It's incredibly well done, kind of sad to see it change back to normal after the sync. The sync chance games got me so stressed though, glad I got them all without fail. Anywho, how do I get 100%? I found his/her character arc surprisingly deep, and recommend that you keep playing.

Yes keep playing the game can be questionably weird but it's something you don't want to miss out on. In my opinion, I love all the characters they the reason I keep playing and I hope there will be more

To unlock the 7-peg puzzles you have to complete the Abra story line and then take the 5-peg tutorial with Grovyle. On the second puzzle Abra will burst in about their new 7-peg puzzle design and teach you how to solve it. Abra will solve it for you but if you wish to solve that puzzle yourself then you can skip the dialogue and solve it. After the tutorial the 7-peg puzzles will be hidden under Abra's head on the main menu.
