You can't go rough every night, sometimes you just gotta go slow and romantic
Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.
Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

BlockedI don't get why people are so against this. their fictional cartoon horses. who cares if it's incest. they aren't real. it's not like they're actual human brother and sister doing that. sheesh

Memberbecause, thanks to the science made in the middle to late 1800s, incest in all its forms is to be frowned upon. it is known in history books that incest was very common before that, especially in the royalty circles or nobles. hence, whenever people start growing up, theyre told and forced to believe that all kinds of incest, real and fictual, are bad. now real one is a subject to be discussed and you can find alot of videos on youtube about it, but i agree on fictual however thats where people start going "oh if you allow fictual incest, your allowing kids to start thinking incest is okay" mindset start appearing.

Memberthanks, but yea, this is a subject i have researched alot about and come to one conclusion... incest, real that is, is not as bad as people are forced to believe in the short run. in the long run, yes, thats when issues happens like at the 4th generation and so on (not to point fingers, but thats whats going on in the middle east where alot of arabian people are marrying their close cousins all the time, as was the christian people doing in the past as well). this is called pedigree collapse (you can read it here on wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedigree_collapse ) but yes, short term, incest is not as bad as were forced to believe, it can work for 1-2 generations then new blood MUST be taken into the family. its still bad, yes, but not to the extend scientists, religion and the social norm wants us to believe it is.
yes, this is something ive collected since i learned about incest in school about 10 years ago sporadicly and intensly between the ages of 14-16, as what our teacher told us about dna and incest did not all make complete sense to me, as they said "according to a chart, a flaw in someones bloodline can skip several generations and someone having a kid within their own family can be normal for several generations, proven by our history" but once sex ed was taught it was "its a guarantee that kids between blood related families are born with one or other defect". now, the chance is increased, yes, but probability is not a guarantee... aaaand i went rambling... well, im to lazy to remove this and hopefully some people might find this ramble and insight into this fascinating, horrifying, wierd or just arousing, either way, enjoy.

MemberWell, I see where this comes from but this just doesn't make sense. I dislike it in real life however that is because it causes issues for the child, meaning they get punished for something they never did. In this case of mlp, either they never get pregnant or the child just doesn't have issues, technically can't have issuesso i beleive it is okay.

MemberHonestly, I find the folks who shun artists over their artwork for things like incest, child porn or whatever else on fictional characters quite contemptable. Yeah sure things like incest are some of the most appalling offenses to commit in life, but that shouldn't earn such unnecessary backlash to the porn artists who'd draw fantasy characters doing just that.
I myself, am attracted to Bro & Sis incest material since in times like this, it can be as sweet and hot like vanilla. But would I do it in real life because of this? Absolutely not, because we as porn artists and viewers should understand the fine difference between Fantasy and Reality as much as we might occasionally loathe it.
So seriously those who bitch and moan about incest and child porn over Non-existent cartoons and chastise the artists drawing them need to either shut the hell up and just move on without any noise or get off the internet altogether.

Memberthe biggest thing ive heard people dragging up when theyre trying to justify their crucifix hunt on the kind of artists you describe are that "if we accept it in imagery, then soon enough people will do it in real life" which is bs. if someone do it in real life, they would done it with or without the images. a show i watched had a professor speak about sexual stuff and he said, and i quote, "giving people porn is the best way to lower sexual assaults. when brothels was outlawed, the crime rates of sex offenders sky rocketed. if women wanna sell their bodies to support their families, let them but we need to stop the pimps and illegal brothels, as those women are not free willing people". meaning, people who draw cub and incest, actually helps keeping real life pedophilia and incest at bay. if one does it cause of images, then they would done it either way without them too.

MemberOne hundred percent agree with both of you. There is no logical reason to hate this, and if anything, yes, holds these things happening for real. I see nothing wrong with it and no artist should be told off for it.
NEO-Symphony
MemberBut them the real debate comes into play; same-sex incest produces zero children and poses no risk.
Apart from the circumstantial STI but that's just an individual thing.
NotAPerv~
MemberThen that is fine too. Realistically, I don't think you should do it. But if you do, whatever. As long as you don't end up with children who will suffer for your stupidity.

Memberkids shouldn't be looking at it anyway
mathpro888
Memberi never said kids would be looking at it in my post, but that its a very common thing even if kids arent watching stuff like that adult goes "BUT WHAT IF KIDS START TO THINK ITS OKAY" or "KIDS WILL THINK INCEST IS GOOD" etc. parents should take their fucking phones out their asses and EDUCATE their kids on whats good and bad but today they leave those things to the internet, tv and schools but with no form to punish the children if they do something bad because "my little angel cant do any wrong" mentality. its the adults and specially parents role to teach right from wrong, but in this day and age from what ive seen most people just plop their kid infront of the tv and call it a day
