Mairo said: Tags seem to have gotten messed up. Not sure what's the difference between crittermatic and cookie_(critterclaws). Animatic is already aliased to critterclaws. Also cookie tag is reserved for the cookie food/treat, so don't even try to change it into character tag.
Uh...pretty sure the pink dragon's name is Cookie. Not sure why it would be inappropriate to tag that character name (specifically with a character tag) just because they're not an actual cookie...I don't see any actual salt in posts with the character tag for Sea Salt...
I really love critterclaws' work, but I wish they'd stop with the blurred out scenes in their videos. I get it, they ask for support on Patreon and if I wasn't working only nine days a month right now, I'd offer it, but can they just release a shorter version of the video for free and have everything else in the full video? I hate to sound like I'm complaining, but it kind of takes me out of the moment, you know?
There is one piece of constructive criticism that i would like to give. Its too loud! Even decreasing the slushing of the BJ a little bit would make it perfect.

I kinda agree with you on that. I talked to Critter on Discord, but they said that he rather release animations for non-patrons for free with one blurred angle, and to only let patrons see that angle exclusively. It’s kinda infuriating.

You'll have to understand how tagging on this website works. If post with cookie is tagged with cookie, then post which has character named cookie is tagged with cookie, now these both posts show up when you search cookie, even if you meant to search the character only. Changing the tag into character tag, would make the post with cookie treat/food to have the tag still, but now it's character tag.
Everyone knows what cookie food/treat is, but only group knows what cookie character is, this is why cookie tag is reserved for food/treat and the character has to use another tag. As they don't have surename, they are tagged with name_(owner) which in this case is cookie_(critterclaws).
sea_salt works because if there's salt in image, it's simply tagged with salt and at least thus far there hasn't been need to distinguish between types of salt. Meanwhile cookie is base level term for all cookies.
My issue here is kinda then why is crittermatic tagged as well and why is it character tag? If it means cookie or critterclaws, then the tag should be aliased accordingly.

I said this ages ago already on some really old post. After looking into situation, the blurred scene is (at least to my knowledge) only alternate angle or less important scene that doesn't take away too much from animation as whole.
The main issue here is that because it's so blatantly in between the animation and they aren't disclosing this in any clear manner, for viewer it does feel like they are full on missing out from crucial parts of the animation if they do not pay up. Also because it's in between animation rather than start or end with text indicating about extra angle for patreons only, it feels intrusive as well; like getting youtube midroll ad just before the video is telling you how to solve your issue, where if there was ad on how to solve your solution easier at the end it could work even better.
I'm glad that the reception for the artist has gotten much more positive, but PR is extremely hard and it's about consumer perception rather than truth or reality and I still feel like they are going trough the extremely rocky road with that.
I think the Details on the Wolf are pretty amazing ... it's only a few construction/proportion issues I see weirding everyone out (which are pretty easy to fix on most Meshes)
The fact people are whining about the patreon bit is a sign people are noticing it. That's probably a success then? And it's not like it takes much at all to view it without the blurred scene. $4. For unblurring on ALL of them from the past, to the future. I know it can feel like one of those "Windows needs to update. Do you want to restart?" type popups that you always click "later" on. But then even with those there's a simple solution, which is to restart. Can't really justify getting mad when it's something you can fix but are just choosing not to.
Or if you're legit poor then... Well you'd not be complaining then. Poor people would have a better sense of gratitude, so if you can whine, you can probably afford it.

This was five days ago so I don't remember perfectly, but I'm pretty sure that at the time I posted that comment this post was properly tagged (e.g. tagged only with the cookie character tag and not the standard cookie tag). Upon reflection though, I think I just misinterpreted what you meant by this:
"Also cookie tag is reserved for the cookie food/treat, so don't even try to change it into character tag."
It seemed like you were saying "stop trying to make 'cookie' a character tag when it clearly refers to baked goods!" lol.
Actually, come to think of it, I think that Cookie is a female character, so maybe the tag isn't even appropriate? They're definitely a pink dragon with a character model that's nearly (if not exactly) identical to the one used here though, so it's possible the character just swaps genders sometimes.
It no longer had the cookie tag since Mairo (correctly) removed it.
Also you need to be more specific what you refer to, when you say cookie character tag, it's not obvious whether you're talking about cookie_(critterclaws) or cookie since cookie can be a character tag as well, hence a "cookie character tag". It is the cookie tag Mairo inesaid should not be used that way and he indeed literally told you not to try to convert it to a character tag, not that you actually can change it anyway since tag type of tags with > 100 uses cannot be changed by regular users.
Also that a character can change sex and gender doesn't make it another character, hence it probably only needs one character tag, but that's a pretty minor thing.
