Description

I wanted to whip up a quick walk cycle to test out the mechanics of the legs on my new birb model- and admittedly also 'cause I just kinda wanted to see them in action. The additional backwards-pointing toe adds some complexity to movements, but I think it also looks pretty cool. :D

At some point in the process I thought it would be neat to have her chained up and actually walking down some sort of prison hallway, sort of like in the picture I did years ago that this model is actually based of. So what was supposed to be a quickly whipped up walk cycle became a bit of a bigger project, having to learn how to make a looping background and stuff, and working out the chain physics was a bitch, and I still didn't get any of it really right, but it's close enough for a simple experiment.

Not porn, technically, but I hope some of y'all find it neat anyway!

I dunno why but the thing wont play for me, it says its 0 seconds long and refuses to play

Are you watching on an iphone by any chance? I've heard those have issues playing .webm files. For what it's worth I just tried on my computer and it played fine.

Not really possible I'm afraid. They file size would be far too large and the quality would drop dramatically on something this length. If there's a way to make gifs work on something this size I haven't figured it out yet.

  • Finally someone gets the way the digitigrade legs walk, right. The last time I saw someone do it right was General Grievous from the old animated clone wars movies from like 2003.
