Consider how dog knots can bend when erect and entirely out of the sheath, it's really no miracle of god to bend in such a manner. Especially in the furry world, where hardly anything has human genitalia anyway.

I think it depends on genetics. Some are more flexible than others. Some just achieve more rigid erections, which if bent significantly, could cause injury.
