What the fuck is with the furry community specifically and making this shit? What is wrong with you people? You're sick bastards and you should seek mental counseling for your own good

Welcome to e621. Every furry here needs mental health counseling.

  • Just going to note that the sketch of this was deleted for its use of how someone died, so this one will probably be deleted to follow suit, you don't need to flag it, you don't need to report it, the staff will deal with it once they get here.

  • I think we can all agree this is insensitive and too soon. A family is still grieving the loss of a loved one. It seems the intent of this art is to sow seeds of division in a time of unrest. And if the artist profited from someone's death, that makes it doubly disgusting. That said, it's just a drawing. It can't hurt you. It's fantasy. Fantasy can reference reality, even tragic murders of real people (see post #1530076). Clearly, the site never had a problem with this in the past. If we can't tolerate images like this because of unfounded fears of intolerance somehow taking over the site, then there's little hope for reason.

This is the fetish of some furries whether you want to accept that or not...

Y'know what, fuck it. I'm done defending free expression on here. This isn't my site. I just try to help out. There's a higher resolution on twitter btw.

What's terrible is that there isn't a blacklist for stupid shit like this...

Honestly, because it's really hard to come up with a single tag that encompasses EVERYTHING like this.

we added george_floyd_protest to cover the rioting in general, however, this also includes general images of protest that aren't.... this.
There's not any direct 'politics' to tag or 'racism' or anything like that...

Also, you may note that this post has actually been deleted due to the thoughtless use of a real person's death. We all pretty mutually agree that this doesn't belong here.

But if you have a suggestion for a tag to cover "stupid shit like this," we'd very much like to hear it. This site is built by all of us working together <3

On second thought, the part about the artist profiting from death makes no sense. If he played no role in the death, he's no more guilty than a mortician in that regard. It wouldn't let me edit my post so I'll try amending it.

Why should this be delete if things like this are aloud https://e621.net/posts/378180?q=9%2F11 just a little bit confused

That's a good point. The 9/11 terror attacks were recent enough to have directly impacted living individuals, and many more people died. Going by the above criterion, that image should also be deleted for glorifying the deaths of real people. Who knows, maybe the images posted before implementation of these unwritten rules will stand.
