News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

I have yet to find someone who disagrees with that

I remember Nostalgia Critic (back when I used to watch him) saying he preferred Lola's re-design in the Looney Tunes Show. But then again, he also said "people don't want to fuck bunnies" without knowing anything about the furry community.

Coomer manchilds are whining and the only way to ruin their life is to draw the new design. Now go do it everyone.

Eh i think it's more people tired of the woke neonazi types retconing characters because apparently attractive female characters can't be strong or well done because attractive is now bad. But my oh no was about them touching an old cult classic and modernizing it in general not just the redesign.

  • That is just an opinion, but one I hold on to dearly. Love Lola's original design! And I love her with Diives style!

No sexy Lola and no Pepe Le Pew? Tell me why again I should give a shit about Space Jam 2?

i no that people are mad about her change design but her old design was not for kids that's why they change it, it was to inappropriate for young audiences that goes for pepe le pew because pepe had a problem of r*** culture so he was cut from the movie...

They put a character that's inappropriate for kids in a kids movie? Okay pal, thanks for clearing that up. Last I checked it was still alright for children to see attractive women, animated or not.

See the problem with this is that when kids watched the original space jam they never really thought about screwing Lola. She was a cool female love interest for Bugs, who was pretty much better than him in just about anything in the movie. They pretty much went out of their way to show that she was better than he was, especially at basketball.

Her old design looked much better because she was more attractive. The issue everybody has is that their annoyance at the redesign is being mislabeled as "oh you just horny" when it's more about changing the original character for no other reason than "conventionally attractive bad". They want their powerful strong woman but she can't look good anymore because of that horrible "male gaze."

"inappropriate" How? If you mean that twitter post, they used a fanart pic from like 2010 of course it looked more sexy there than in the ACTUAL movie.

That wasn't inappropriate for kids... inappropriate would be hard violence, or too much exposure, and atleast here where i live, far from a beach, i still see these girls in even smaller shorts and sports tops, those clothes are even worse than Lola's first design, but no one is complaining, because it still appropriate

And then he soon learned about the furry community. He's brought that up several times since.
