In the book "Winter Turning" witch is about an icewing prince named Winter, who is trying to find his murderous sister. His sister goes to the rainforest to kill the rainwing Queen, Glory. When winter gets to the rainforest, the dragon named Deathbringer thinks that Winter is his sister and Queen Glory explains to him that winter is a boy and the icewing that they were looking for was a girl.

Why isn’t Starflight blind?

Been reading through this series for the first time lately and when I got to the part of book 7 this is in reference to I thought, "Oh now I finally understand what that porn was about". lol
