Notable Civilizations
Some of the major civilizations, their biological differences, and what makes them each unique, suggested by TrueWolves!
I debated whether to include the cat clans, since they're technically just a variant of feline keidran, but I thought it'd be fun to include such a short off-shoot in the lineup.

MemberI like how the male of the cat clan examples is looking at the female basitin like "I wonder how hard it'd be to climb THAT mountain?" While the female canine is looking at the male human like "Behind the barn in 10 minutes?"

MemberI always thought that was an interesting twist to the usual fantasy races setup of having humans either be the "average in everything" race or a lower lived race. Although it wasn't until this that I found out humans live longer than basitins too, since I don't recall if basitin lifespans were ever mentioned. The comic went over keidran's shorter lifespans a lot, and it's clear basitins live longer since Laura was fairly old once Keith saw her again while Keith looked like he had only aged a little since that time so I always assumed their livespans were at least as long as humans, wasn't expecting them to be shorter.
I found it odd that the differences in how the three races can use magic was not mentioned as well, considering how critical a role magic plays throughout the entire plot of the comic you would think that would have been an important point to talk about.

MemberThat one was ready included in the "magical abilities" post with Professor Raine. It even included how Keidran are often faster at using magic due to using crystals directly, where humans have to use them to recharge (though as mentioned, they don't need them.) And that Basitins might have some sort of "internal" magic. This one seems to be Civ/Bio follow up.
Doesn't look like anyone uploaded that one though... it's on the Patreon.

MemberThey are
BXSinclair
MemberI actually went to look this up, because I knew Foxes were canids, but wasn't sure if they were canines (canine is a subcategory of canid, so all canines are canids, but not necessarily every canid is a canine)
Turns out, there are 3 subgroups of canid, and 2 of them are extinct, meaning that all living canids are canines by default
However, using this same logic, tigers, lions, and leopards are not felines (though cheetahs and cougers are) as they are in the subfamily pantherinae and not felinae
