Sekk'ral is not an older man. He is older than Farin, that's correct, but he is 27 years old, and Farin is 18 years old.

I always find it a bit weird when comics need to have the youngest only be 18 while the oldest is much older. I know its a drawing/imaginary so it ultimately does not matter, but when a comic is actually trying to tell a story and not just be porn things like that will stick out. Couldn't even follow the "Your Age Divided By 2 Plus 7 Rule" Sekk'ral should probably be dating someone a bit older so its not as weird.

That's the gist. I said way in the early days of this comic that I found something off-putting about Sekk'ral, and that there doesn't seem to be anything to their relationship beyond sex.

Its more like an actual stable relation ship. Sekk'ral is just a really considerate and kind guy who saved Farins life. Farin is then attracted to him but also confused because he did not know he was gay but went as far as peaking at sekk'ral's cock. Sekk'ral picks up on Farin being very obvious and also confused and they talk it out. They develop into a kind and loving relationship. Ferin is the main drive for most of the horny stuff between them and is the only drive at the beginning. Problem is, where they both come from dose not like them being together beacuse of the history between the two breads. The only current ally's they have right now that we know of is Farins 2 friends, the elder (a.k.a. Farins father figure), and the priest. That should be all the info you need skiping a lot of details and backstory but that's the general gist of there relationship!

As for paranoid pedo hunting ...... I"m just gonna say that my position as staff member has lead me to see a *lot* of things I wish I'd never seen, heard or read. A comment in support of a relationship between an 18 year old and a 27 year old is nothing. I would comment about the fact that, at least in a modern human society, that age game would lead to a pretty significant stagee of life difference, and tried to gently discourage any 18 year olds from dating 27 year olds, but no one is going to get a record unless they're being aggressively creepy about it.

As for trolling... Being one of the people who is in change of this circus and these monkeys (said with all affection), means you need to have some degree of sense of humor. Knotty has been here for over 10 years and is well known for making humorous comments. The difference here is that people are getting defensive because the idea that the comic they enjoy could have some dubious parts to it is scary because they don't want to be a fan os something 'questionable' or 'problematic'... It's still a good story that a lot of people enjoy, and it's okay if parts of the story would set off alarm bells if it happened in real life.

It's two adults struggling to be allowed into a gay relationship. There is nothing dubious about it.

The fact that one is a dragon and one is a fox is more of a power gap than the age difference but I don't see anyone questioning the ethics of that.

20 minutes away as the crow (or in this case, dragon) flies would be orders of magnitude longer if on foot simply because of how treacherous the terrain is.

edit - I have no problem with the comic, aside from Farin and Sekk'Ral both having their manipulative guilting moments. Like post #2029956 and post #1630817 (justification or not, admit Farin really did pull this shit for multiple pages). I was fine with sparking a conversation about this subject matter. Of course my comment didn't accurately describe the story. That was the point.

Hmm interesting debate here, but i think farin is old enough to make his adult decisions however flawed they may be. I for one, would also go for scalie, no shame in that. Also characters in this story indeed arent perfect... which is great, it actually makes them "human".
