looks like serah is waking up from a dream...........

More like a nightmare. I wonder how long she is going to blame herself for that. She was just a kid and it’s not like she was the one that caused the argument in the first place.

  • Well I think, this dream was an explanation, how she just feeled. She doesn't want to lose another important person in her life.
And this dream or that memory is where everything started. There was in the previous chapter, where she bet with Seb, "Dad will be drunken on the sofa".
That would explain why Serah isn't so good with her dad, or why she isn't so good with her dad. But otherwise.....
Just right now (Cause we all can't know) the mother just left cause of jealously?
But why are Serah and Seb still with their dad? And not wih their mother?

So I guess Seb didn’t make it out of the crash unscarred.

I thought it was just her hand going against the grain of his fur and mussing it up.

It’s sweet that she’s holding onto him where the scar is. Her eyes though, it has seen horrible things, something nobody should ever have to see.

Is that a scar? Thought it was just her messing up his fur. It isnt there in the second panel either.

Actually, it looks like she’s just stroked his fur the wrong way as she rubs his side. She’s probably trying to wake him up.

    She is definitely attractive 💕

  • I like the pages like this that are void of text, they really allow the reader to sit and think, contemplate the same things the characters are contemplating etc.

Inevitably when going back through this after it's complete, this fallowing the previous page let's it all sink in, now with the full context of why these characters feel the ways they do, Sarah especially. Surreal is the feeling this page invites, and I think it nails it, contextualizing what we just saw into the form of a nightmare too means while surreal for us, it's all too real for them.

Hoo boy, not entirely sure I'm interpreting your post right. It's a bit of a mess. But I'll see if I can get it sorted.

Serah is terrified of losing someone else she cares about. Likely she's also triggered by fights/arguments given the trauma attached to the one between her parents, which could explain why she's often emotionally distant and disassociates when things get tense.

Why she's not on great terms with her father is probably a combination of his drinking and Jayden. She may be feeling that he cares more about the booze than he does his kids, and that he was way too quick in "replacing" her mom with "some random hooker," not realizing (until just recently) that Jayden and her dad have a history from before she was even born (quite possible Jayden is the ex the parents were arguing about).

As for why the kids are with their dad and not their mom...maybe I'm forgetting a reference in a previous page but given the memory Serah just relived I'm guessing her mom died in that crash. Very likely that's how her dad's ear got mangled, and he was on the opposite side of the vehicle from the impact. Being asleep probably saved Seb's life as we unwittingly do a lot of damage to ourselves in a crash by tensing up (it's why in a collision between a drunk driver and a sober one the drunk usually has fewer injuries). So, yea. Living with their mom wouldn't be n option. I'd have to go back and re-read the whole thing to double check that there weren't any references to their mom still being alive, just "separated" from Keith.

  • Theirs something to be said about waking up first thing in the morning and the first sight you see is the one person you love the most. The amount of stress relief that brings is just something that can not be described. I love waking up in the morning with my arms wrapped around the one person I love more than anything in this world. No feeling alive beats it except seeing them smile. I really hope the first thing Serah does when Seb wakes up is give him a smile and a kiss on the lips while telling him she loves him. It would do a lot to ease the stress and worry he probably still has lingering about what happened yesterday.

  • The reasons why I think the marks on his side are scars are that scarring is tagged on the Inkbunny and those marks are on the same side that Seb would have been hit.

  • Even if he didn’t hear them last night, it’s 9AM, they’re naked and uncovered. All he had to do was peek in to say bye before work.

They were never not going to get caught lmao

  • I like the amount of intentional details black kitten puts into each page. Even the aforementioned scars tag on the same side the car hit Seb long time ago.

As for the nightmare, I think it's pretty obvious Serah got over the incident. She didn't wake up in the middle of the night (looking at the clock), she doesn't have a shocked facial expression or even reaches for a hug (at least that's what I do when I get haunted like that)

I just really hope she's not blaming herself for what happened and is being honest about it with her bro.

After he heard Animal Planet noises coming from the room the night before Keith's expression pretty much says he's walking past that room with a " nope everything's fine Seb was just watching loud pron and my kids are definitely not doing each other " attitude at least til he gets a little processing time under his belt

Everyone can edit tags everywhere (on e6 of course)! Your account is 7 years old - WTF do you not know that?!
I just added a bunch of environmental tags but didn't add scar because I don't see a scar and under TWYS.

The truck looked like it was about to hit the front right part of the car, right on their mom. Also, Seb was sleeping, so he wasn't tensed up, decreasing injury. He possibly still got hurt, but obviously came out of it.

I know I've brought it up before but I'm still very conflicted with this comic purely for personal reasons. I absolutely love the story telling, however...

I constantly think of how Serah looks like my ex and that in itself is a very conflicted feeling.
(She cheated on me and apparently now we're both miserable after she decided to disappear.)

Not very fitting for a website full of furry porn but I have nowhere else to express these feelings so please forgive me.

I forgive you but the rest of the audience doesn't God damn

Yes you might be right. To be honest I was really blind on the last page. I didn't see that the situation might have ended in a car crash. And maybe now she is blaming her dad for the death of her mother.

I have only seen the discussion that her mother was envy of "Jayden" (Yes Jayden is the Zebra)

And sorry if my english isn't the best, I'm german but I try my best :) .

The artist had to remove the paypal donation link because of paypals anti-porn policies, but they have the following in their original description:

If you would like to support me, I make 1 week page previews on my Patreon/Subscribestar for my supporters. As well as share various art I've been up to lately before reaching public!

This chapter feels like it's about to end, but we have SSSOOOO much to go through before it's over.

Got a little bit more to go as IIRC BK usually runs about 40ish pages per chapter and we're currently at 27 pages so at least another 13 or so pages yet to go.

But... Water is not wet. That's not how wet works.

Water and oil are wet because they are liquids that cling to dry surfaces. Alcohol and mercury are are dry liquids because they don't cling to dry surfaces, either beading or rapidly evaporating.

Wetness is the ability of a liquid to adhere to the surface of a solid, so when we say that something is wet, we mean that the liquid is sticking to the surface of a solid material. Water by definition is not wet, that is not how wet works.

Alright, let's put it another way. You know Van Der Waals forces? It's the attraction and repulsion between atoms, it's what keeps you from merging with other objects when you come in contact with them which leads a bunch of stoners to strike their last two braincells together and slur shit like "did you know that you, like, never actually touch anything, bro?"
Now while that is essentially true, were I to reel back and smack that dumbfuck with every ounce of strength I have, I can't go back and say they can't get pissed at me because on an atomic level I never touched them.
Sometimes the minutia of the physics at work just don't fucking matter and you just sound like some smarmy know it all cunt with a list of internet "facts" for trying to point it out.

I like your profile picture. Looks exactly how I feel.
