Like post #400202, but with 100% more violin strings!

  • Actually, it's not possible to express how many more violin strings there are in percentiles. Long story short, it requires dividing by zero, and we all know what happens when you try that.

    You could say there are 100% more bowed instrument strings, however.

    Actually there are a considerably large array of five string violoncello and violins. I will not argue over how practical they are, but I can assure you they exist.

    Moot point, that cello has only 4 strings, same with the violin. You might have been taken in by an optical illusion due to parallel lines, but if you look at the anchor points at the resonating chamber you will notice only 4 holes, and likewise only 4 tuning knobs.

    Unless i am misreading your statements and they are in fact a general unhappiness with the absence of a guitar in the picture...
