Description
".... Hey Ankha."
Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.
Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

MemberNow that the whole series has taken a sort of cosmic horror bend I'm seeing everything as foreshadowing. My theory goes like this...
The fate book can't be destroyed, only rejected. Now that the mayor has cast it aside, who is the most likely person to pick it up next? Naturally, our resident highly adventurous reader with a huge respect for those that write. Who knows what ridiculous escapades are rolling around in Petri's head, and this community knows exactly what sort of wild inspiration an exotic character like Ankha can cause. Marshal's true fate is to have entertaining nonsense happen to him for our amusement, so he's basically doomed.

MemberWhat I see happening is Petri trying to convince Ankha to do some dirty deed in the theater with Marshal to satiate her public sex kink.

MemberMy bet is on "don't hurt him" personally, dude's been through some stuff. Plus we've had the "page turns" be peaceful just earlier. The timing feels right to me.

MemberWhile possibly, it's also possible that burning the book fixed nothing and what was written will continue to play out and "suggestions" and "pushes" will continue to happen.
Think of it like the main computer in Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs; it would make the food creating machine create whatever was typed into the main computer. No more input on the computer, no more food, right? Except the last order before it was destroyed was a Vegas style all you can eat buffet, essentially an order that has no ending.
Marshal's writing was:
It could be that, even with no more input into the book, simply becoming Marshal's "girlfriend" can cause events to start spiraling once more.
