News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

If you can't escape something, it should be about time you start thinking on how to best enjoy it!

Don't wanna act like a debby downer now do you?

Nah man, thats just a bad take.

Well, If we're going to die anyway, why not accept it?

It's not like your murderer is going to stop! And she clearly isn't doing anything to stop it.

You seriously didn’t just double down right?!?

They've been purposely aggravating people since early on in the comic by being edgy like that, just let it go and ignore it lol

I can have a different opinion WITHOUT being an edgelord, ya know?
Just cause I'm saying that she sould like what is happening doesn't make it edgy.

The comments above, for example, are saying that since she has fuck all in terms of agency and can't seem to get rid of the Suit Guy or find it in herself to deny him it would be best if she just accepted what will happen and start enjoying it.
Better to live on your knees than die standing and all, ya know?

Though I AM being edgy, and I WILL triple down if needed to defend my opinion~
Also, yay! The artist recognized me!

It's not only what you're saying, it's how you're saying it. Other people have expressed thoughts like yours without getting downvoted to hell like you. You sound openly provocatory, always have, and that's why you get recognized as an edgelord rather than someone with a real opinion

True. But I can't exactly control how people want to see my comments, eh doll?

I'm content with commenting my opinions and simply ignoring the backlash!

Saying “Eh, Doll” doesn’t help ya mate.

please tell me this comic will have some sort of good ending..

It is worrysome, but a bad ending wouldn't be unrealistic either. The sad reality is that there's many people that have to resort to degrading lifestyles just to get by and not starve to death.

While I do think a happy ending would make us, well, happy, a sad ending would be also fitting and pretty poetic. I'm interested to see where this keeps going.

Far as I can tell, getting rid of suit would take just not calling him again. On the scale of ease of getting rid of a guy, that's pretty easy. What's hard is giving up on the options (money + suff) suit provides.

I wonder how people who've been raped for years would take your opinion.
Oh! I have an idea! How about you go to survivors of sexual assault and say to them "Hey, did you ever think you should start, I don't know, enjoying it? I mean, it wasn't gonna stop any sooner than it did, how about you accept and like it?" See how well that goes for you.

Spoiler alert, it won't go well.

Personally I think some halfway ending isn't out of the question either.

Something open ended and not necessarily sad, but not a happy one either.

  • I feel like that scene from clone high just after Abe and Gandhi kiss:

“Dude that was not cool, not cool at all… and that’s why I’m paying you 4 dollars”

And? This is online, that is in real life.
Just because I enjoy watching Helicopters fuck their pilots doesn't mean that I get to do that in real life.

Learn to separate the two, darling~ You sound like you need it!

Do you know what deindividualization is? I suggest doing some research into it and orher related things. It might help you understand perspectives beyond your own. A very valuable skill to have.

I just hope she finds someone who loves her and helps her through things, but yes, the chances of a bad ending are much higher than a happy one :c

  • At the risk of being the next person annihilated for a bad opinion… she didn't have to accept his indecent proposal. And she can walk away at any time. I mean, she was doing "fine" before, right? But now, she's grown accustomed to actually having money… good food… clothes that don't have big holes… a roof over her head…

I'm not saying she should "make lemonade out of lemons". On the contrary. If this is doing this much damage to her mental state, then she should tell him she's done. If I remember right, he implied that she could leave at any time, and despite his subtle manipulations, I believe him. Leaving might cost her the "niceties" of life (what would be the bare minimum for most people), but what's more important? Comfort? Or her sanity?

This is not a decision to be taken lightly. Hopefully, she'll come to a decisive answer before it's too late.

  • Firstly, I just need to say something meaningful to justify this comment's existence.
Has she tried to get a job at the motel yet? Maybe her salvation's right under her nose.

    Secondly...
