Fifty or so pages later, we finally get to where we need to be. But in fairness, trips do take time!
Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.
Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

MemberRadio?
It seems this current civilization is more advanced than it first seems, yet I sense it's also more divided, as in the people more advanced are sequestered from the rest.

MemberI think it has to do with monetary resources. If you have the money, you could go high (higher?) tech. But do you need to? If going lower tech gets the job done, do you need to spend money or use resources for the tech?
One difference seen is in transportation. This was seen when Fen went to deal with the bandits. Outbound, she got a ride with a family in an animal pulled vehicle, and got a ride back with Mina and Mona Joice in their crystal powered one.
The griffin(?), being a mobile flyer, needs a wireless set, to talk with their controllers, but you will remember that Storm did not have a wireless comm set; he talked to Sha directly, to warn them of the storm, even though there was a radio (walkie talkie?) seen in the engine room of the Hootsman, which Sha used to talk to Rey. They seemed to have by-passed wired communications. And most of their communications seem to be by mail/courier/delivery service. Crystals may be necessary to power the wireless sets.
Vanderskaug may want to be a showcase, and 'brag' - we have the tournament; look at what else we have.
side note.
A low tech observer-alert system could have been setup with observation posts, and voice pipes.
Voice pipes were used in large ships before wired-telephone communications, usually between the bridge and engine room. (I think this is how it worked). One would remove a whistle from their end of the pipe, and blow into it, sounding the whistle at the other end, then put the whistle back. The other end would do the same, to inform the first sender that the call has been noticed (answered). The whistles would then be removed. The first sender would talk into the pipe, while the other end listened on their end. They would switch from talking to listening, by saying 'Over', as in Over to you, so the other end can reply. When all the talking was done, they would say 'Over and out' to each other, signaling the end of the comm session.
Even today, (likely) on military ships, and in shows like Star Trek, a whistle is used to alert the crew of a message. And walkie walkies , in our world, not being duplex (continuous two-way), some people still use 'Over', and 'Over and out', to signal they were done talking.

MemberFen knows what Morgan likes, which is why she was waving the dildo in front of her.
And Morgan's eyes were focused on it.

MemberUnlike in media, in professional radio communications, "over and out" is never used as it is redundant and could cause confusion. It's just "out" at the end of the conversation.

MemberAlso Engine Order Telegraph, - wich featured in the film Titanic, the big leaver with clock like base: full speed, forward, neutral, full stop backward etc. - you convey between a pre selected set of messages. When you don't need make a lengthy and complex sentences, just for some common recursive orders.

MemberI'm curious. Fen made the dilbo, but Lamb grabbed it. If Fen stopped channeling and Lamb started, would she be able to keep the dildo or would it vanish when Fen stops?
Like, I remember that Fen and Vix both channeled to put out that barn fire WAY BACK when, but that seemed to be just two separate channels going at it at once.
Are there any instances of two or more casters, of any type, combining there cast into one item/super cast? Like maybe for hadalen a creation being huge and/or extremely strong, or avin users making a hurricane or something like that?
