If you mean because it is a image macro, there is an exception on the uploading guidelines

Entirely depends on how you define "opinion".
We don't delete images based of the content in them, whether we agree with it or not. This is why you'll find thousands of images with scat or watersports in them that I have approved. We do, however, enforce quality standards and part of those standards is that the drawing in question must be executed skillfully. In other words it must be visible the artist knows what they're doing, and that the image doesn't like someone held a pencil for the very first time in their life.

Why were two of my images that were already approved removed for "quality"? There's stuff on this site that's much worse and that stays up for years. You shouldn't delete things if another mod has already approved them, that's just standard practices.

Case by case basis based on the personal opinion of one or more mods. Like it or not it's their website and they're allowed to change their mind or override each other, though i agree i've seen stuff that's worse and far more low effort but you can't expect them to backtrack and remove every single one of them.

One place i would suggest asking is discord or message an admin, but taking it up on a random popular image isn't the way to go. You're just asking for negative attention at this point.

NotMeNotYou is the person to talk to if you believe you're being abused or treated unfairly at all by an admin(s) but i would recommend talking to a regular admin first.

I did poke a light hearted joke at a mod once, got my record. We dialogued, I apologized, and I got my record removed, didn't even ask for it.

When you pretty much make it your job to take criticism and get poked fun at on a consistent basis for doing your job that *does* make you less receptive to jokes made at your expense, even if they're obviously light hearted or actually funny. If anything as they are the head admin i'm actually surprised and happy they're at least taking an interest in the people like they do.

While that's certainly part of it the bigger part is that the message in my avatar is specifically aimed at situations and people like depicted in the background. People that stumbled over something benign on the site that didn't affect them in any way personally, but they made it their personal problem and then started to harass and insult the people that made and liked it.
And then a lot of those people claim it's "their right" to harass and insult those people because "I was just joking, lmao, they can just turn their computer off" as if they're not the ones causing the problem in the first place.

I can definitely understand that, sometimes my own humor is a little dry as its been pointed out. But they're never intended to be just a straight up insult at the person. I just steer clear of it nowadays... usually. You never know what could just straight up offend someone these days because they don't interpret things the way you do. I could say the weather is dry and someone would find a reason to get offended these days, wonders of the internet.
