Why does Ash suck so much ass as a trainer?

    Craig said it:
After all those years he doesn't know type advantage
    Has caught only about 10%
Every trainer he faces is better than him
    Hasn't beaten any pokemon league
He doesn't earn badges, he just gets them out of pity like a little bitch
    Has a stupid hat
Yugi would be a better trainer

    I would add:
Lives in pokémon world, doesn't know the name of common pokémon
Forgets the names of pokémons he's encountered before
    Can't evolve anything
    Forgets how to catch pokémons
    Pikachu

Because ten year olds don't have the most brilliant of minds.

10yo kids from our world would be way better pokémon trainers than him. Also, isn't he like 15 or something?

15 or 16 in the Japanese version...I think.

Don't really know. I've been keeping up with the anime through serebii's screencaps after having stopped watching around the middle of the Unova saga.

Too bad he released that Goodra.

    I know, huh.

At least it can go on being undefeated. And there was an episode where they met again IIRC.

How many episodes did you have to watch to come up with these scores?

He releases his Goodra in episode 865(Eng)/872(JP). When I first saw this graphic it was just before the following season was due to start.
Assuming the person behind this watched to the end of season 18 that would be 888(Eng)/895(JP) episodes.

  • I personally think [Number or wins / Number of fights] is better than [Win percentage] (If you have only fought once and won, then your win percentage is 100%, but if you have fought 100 times and won 80, then your win percentage is 80, but you have still won more fight than the ones who have only fought once.

It's because he doesnt care about winning. He's more concerned with having a good time, making friends, and the journey, rather than trying to beat the shit out of everyone.
It's about the pokemon, not about winning.

It's about being a pokemon trainer, he left his home supposedly to be one. Pokemon trainers catch multiple pokemon, train pokemon, compete in pokemon leagues and win gym badges. He's terrible at that
If it were about having a good time and not about winning then he wouldn't stop to get a gym badge, he'd try, fail, and keep going, let alone compete in a league where people are expected to take training seriously. He'd go back home every now and then to visit his previous pokemon and mother
About making friends, pokemon are practically forced into following, obeying and fighting for a person, what kind of friendship starts like that? not to forget Ash just replaces his "friends" as soon as a new season begins

He's just some vagavond that seems to rely on having people cook for him and his status as main character to get things solved. At least the Team Rocket gets a job

Oh, you're one of those people who say 'pokemon arent your friends', are you?
You can go back to the Westboro baptist church and Peta and talk with your own friends about how pokemon is corrupting children, I'm not gonna bother arguing.

Forget about arguing, you didn't even bother thinking or reasoning for what I see. You just took whatever was convenient, twisted it and used it to (angrily) escape since you know you don't have anything against the facts I've shown
They wouldn't need pokeballs to make friends
They wouldn't need to fight to be friends
They wouldn't be released if they were friends
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon would work for sending the message of friendship, not the regular series

You can stop now. I already said I'm not gonna bother arguing.

I know what you mean, but you do realize [fights won/total fights] is the same thing as the win percentage, except it is the decimal version of the percentage. Perhaps you are specifying that the picture should show the win percentage with the total battles each pokemon fought. That would make more sense.
