soul vore

Soul vore describes when a character consumes the spirit (AKA soul, life force, spirit energy, etc. — this article will use "soul") of another character. The soul is usually ripped from the prey's body, and consumed through an orifice, or absorbed on contact with the predator's body.
Details About Soul Vore
The soul usually takes the form of a ghostly (glowing, smokey, translucent) version of the character's physical body — but may be depicted in other ways, such as a glowing wispy trail coming from the prey's body, a sphere of glowing energy or a cartoonish ghost.
Soul Vore is usually similar to oral vore, except with the soul being consumed through the mouth rather than the prey's physical body. Soul vore can also follow standard oral vore ("soul digestion"), with the character's physical body ingested orally, digested within the stomach, and their remaining soul is then digested as well. In some cases, this may result in sentient fat.
Soul vore can also involve other orifices, such as the soul being sucked into the anus, vagina, or urethra of the penis; and as with "oral vore + soul vore", the physical body may be first consumed through that orifice, be broken down by the predator's body, and then have the soul follow. The prey's body may possibly be consumed with one orifice, while the soul is consumed through another orifice.
Tagging Notes
If the soul is not seen consumed through an orifice, but is absorbed on contact, this should ONLY be tagged as soul_vore
- This should not be tagged as absorption vore - absorption vore describes physical absorption, not the absorption of energy or the soul
- If the soul is consumed through an orifice, the vore tag for that orifice should be included — e.g. if the soul is ingested anally, the post should be tagged soul_vore and anal_vore
- Soul vore may be indicated by a character's bloated belly glowing, and/or the character excreting ghostly (usually blue) feces after vore
- If the predator rips the prey's soul from their body after digesting their physical form, soul stealing should be tagged, rather than soul vore (unless the soul is then consumed)
- e.g. a character digests the body of another, then steals their soul and puts it in an amulet
