An apode creature with an anthro upper body that moves around on a "snake-like" lower body of the same species. The term typically refers to the "snake with arms" kind of naga, where it's essentially just an all-snake lamia (not unlike what a horse_taur is to centaurs). By extension, it may also be used to refer to non-snake species, such as dragons, that are made to have the same body shape, but wouldn't count as lamias given how they are not split_form.
Note that both "naga" and "lamia" have served to designate a wide variety of somewhat snake-like creatures in various fantasy universes, regardless of the etymology. While the definition given to those two words for tagging purposes is essentially arbitrary, care should be taken to avoid tagging as naga fantasy species that do not match the above definition, even though they may be called that in-universe. The nagas from Warcraft, for example, have their own tag, even though their usual body shape qualifies for the definition of naga so long as enough of it is visible to tell. Likewise, cock_naga (related to snake penis), despite the name, does not meet that definition, as it describes a creature that is conjoined and doesn't actually move on its own, which is problematic given the implications of draconcopode and, by extension, apode.
