Profanity refers to the presence of vulgar or obscene (and considered socially offensive) words in an image or video usually regardless of context. Terms tends to refer to very common, or unambiguously vulgar terms.
Note: Offensive words that are used to describe people, or groups of people fall under slur, or homophobic_slur.
List of offensive words

- "Cocksucker"
- "Motherfucker"
Conditional profanity
Terms that refer to reproductive organs, or other intimate areas probably shouldn't completely fall under the scope of profanity, but might conditionally apply if they are used in a way other than referring to a specific body part. Calling someone an ass, or asshole could be called profane, but discussing an asshole may not be.
