ペリーヌ・クロステルマン, Perīnu Kurosuteruman

A fictional character from the mixed media series Strike Witches. Perrine is a member of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing originating from the nation of Gallia. Perrine's familiar is the Chartreux.

Perrine was formerly a wealthy aristocrat from the nation of Gallia who devoted nearly all of her wealth in the reconstruction effort of that nation. Despite this she retains her refined tastes and occasionally looks down on her "less refined" peers in the 501st. Despite her tough outward demeanor the destruction of her homeland by the Neuroi left her emotionally scarred and she is often distrustful of strangers and prone to jealousy. Her main magical ability is a concentrated burst of electrical energy that she can send outward from her position. She often comments, after using the ability, that it makes her hair "frizzy".

Perrine is modeled after the French flying ace, politician, and engineer Pierre Clostermann. Her striker model is styled for the Arsenal VG-33 and later the upgraded VG-39. Perrine often carries a rapier into battle (though she rarely uses it for combat) while wielding a Bren Light Machine Gun and PIAT Mk1 (Projector, Infantry, Anti-Tank weapon that launches a 2 pound explosive bomb using a powerful spring loaded mechanism).
