Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Adventures of the Gummi Bears

An animated cartoon series that first aired between 1985 and 1990 on NBC and later ABC. The series was reportedly inspired when Disney CEO Michael Eisner was asked by his son for the gummy bear candies one day.

The series follows the adventures of Gummi-Glen Gummis, a close knit clan of anthropomorphic bears charged with the protection of that area while they await the day when peace between humans and gummis comes again and the Great Gummis can return.
