Generally used when characters have their hands curled, imitating a cat's or dog's paw. This pose can be done in various positions (standing, sitting, lying, etc.). Most often the pose is done towards the viewer. Paw Poses can involve one or both hands with the wrists often being bent.

The character's hands can also look as though they are clawing with open palms and curled fingers, in which case claw_pose is more appropriate
