A character with a narrow, thin figure; who has no notable excess body fat and lacks particularly defined muscles.
"Skinny" can apply to a range of bodies, — athletic bodied characters may sometimes be considered skinny, despite their subtle muscular definition, so long as they have a notably narrow frame.
Characters with an hourglass figure may sometimes also fall under skinny, again, if torso and limbs are relatively thin. A skinny character should never be slightly chubby, overweight or obese; skinny characters should never be tagged as being voluptuous or pear-shaped figure, and rarely should a skinny character ever be tagged as muscular.
Skinny characters will often have torsos that appear "longer than normal", and may have relatively thin arms and legs. Some skinny characters may look "average", depending on the artist's style — without any anatomical indications of lacking body fat or muscular definition besides their overall "thinness" — or their ribs (or even entire rib cage), hip bones, clavicles may be clearly visible through their skin (without looking entirely emaciated).
