A magic user is any character who is capable of using magic in some form, usually a magician or some sort of spellcaster. For the latter, they tend to take the form of wizards, sorcerers, and mages.

For tagging purposes, magic users are generally defined as casting magic on screen, or matching up with the "visual stereotype" of a spellcaster.
